Spring Cleaning!
It looks like winter has finally loosened it’s grip on Calgary, and thoughts are now turning to spring cleaning. Save your black bin and the environment by bringing your used items to us. We are collecting all kinds of bike gear / accessories to be refreshed by our Hub team and redistributed to new homes.

We are looking for everything and anything a new bike rider might need. We will even take those oddities that you might easily dismiss, like bike light brackets after the light has been taken off your ride or lights that don’t have a bracket as your bike was stolen (bike thieves SUCK!). That buff or jersey that sits in a closet waiting for it’s time that never comes. Those gloves that are okay, but you got a better pair for your birthday or even the ones that you were planning to retire as the seam is coming apart. The logo’d bike bell you got at an event that doesn’t fit your bars or a pannier rack or bag that didn’t quite work out for what you needed but held onto on that garage shelf. Our repair station sits ready to repair and repurpose those little items that are not in use but could assist someone new to biking that is trying to find those comfort accessories to keep rolling all year long.

As always, we are also accepting bike donations if you are really looking to clean up, or you can look for us at your local community clean up this spring / summer. Smaller kids bikes join our Kids Bike Trade Up pool, open for anyone looking to upsize their child’s ride to match their growing bodies, and adult bikes are given to our students who realize after a week of riding with us in their community that they don’t want to stop when we leave but don’t have a bike of their own.
