Youth en Route wins ARPA Youth award

Each year, the Alberta Parks and Recreation Association, of which Youth en Route is a member,  recognizes outstanding people and community organizations that have impacted Alberta. Youth en Route’s executive director Laura Shutiak received the award at the ARPA conference in Lake Louise in October.

“We are thrilled to get this recognition from our peers in the recreation world. We know the power of bikes to deliver freedom and give kids agency. It’s great that ARPA think so too,” said Shutiak.

At the banquet, ARPA shared a video they produced about the award winners.
